Well, this past September last year in 2009, Woodridge, Illinois once again put on it’s annual Cultural Fest. This two day event that took place on Friday September 11 and Saturday September 12, 2009 outside Village Hall in Woodridge, Illinois was a celebration of cultural diversity. A chance to celebrate a wide variety of  cultures from around the world. Cultural Diversity and understanding has always been one of Woodridge Illinois’s big outreach’s. It’s those differences We celebrate, but at the same time come together as proud Americans to honor and respect different ethnic backgrounds.

So at this event there was several food vendors, featuring some yummy, yummy treats from around the world. The Woodridge Jaycees as always proudly manned the beer tent, offering a variety of both beers and wines from around the globe. And of course, the music. This two day event featured four different musical acts celebrating and respecting several cultures from around the world.

So as always The Woodridge Cultural Fest aims to please. Kids and adults like can celebrate all of the rich and exciting cultures that make up Woodridge, Illinois ,as well as this country, and for that matter the world. Kudos Woodridge, Illinois.
