Well keeping Your child safe is definitely one of Your top priorities. One way to keep your kid safe is proper fingerprinting for identification. There are a variety of ways to go about this. But there was several caring parents in The Woodridge Illinois area that knew exactly how to get their sons and daughters fingerprinted. Find the Woodridge VFW and The Woodridge Police Department at The Woodridge Public Library.

On Saturday March 7, 2009 at The Woodridge Public Library in Woodridge, Illinois The Woodridge Veterans of Foreign of Wars Memorial Post 1578, in association with The Woodridge Police Department had their special ID a Kid event. For the first year, The Woodridge VFW had this ID a Kid day at The Woodridge Library in which both Woodridge VFW members and Woodridge Police Officers fingerprinted youngsters to create a file for their parents records to have just in case of an emergency. Woodridge VFW members made the process of a smooth as silk. It was a great for this kiddies to meet some true American heroes. Kiddies had their fingers placed in ink and then fingerprinted on a special. And besides that kids got a special goodies bag.

The Woodridge Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 1578 are a great group of War Heroes who proudly fought for defended Our Country, The United States of America. Through the Woodridge VFW these great group of guys are able to come together to celebrate their service in the military as well helping their local Chicagoland Community.

The Woodridge VFW puts on a variety of events including a Memorial Day and Veterans Day Service.
