Well, let’s us take a look at another fun and exciting event taking place in the community. The Swedish Days Parade in Geneva, Illinois is a great way to bring in the summer season, as well as a time to celebrate Geneva Illinois’s rich Swedish culture and influence. This special parade, which took place on Sunday June 28, 2009 in downtown Geneva Illinois, included a wide variety of floats, bands, organizations, and of course You know it, Vikings, I mean come on, a parade truly isn’t parade unless You got Vikings.

This parade was actually just part of an event that lasted almost half a week. Geneva Swedish Days, included entertainment, food, crafts, exhibitors, a fun carnival the works.
