Well it’s time once again to take look at one of My favorites Christmas Events. One You gotta check out. For me personally this is an event that truly brings the true meaning of Christmas home.

Every year at Concordia University - Chicago in River Forest, Illinois, the University puts on it’s annual Christmas music extravaganza - Their Service of Lessons and Carols. Lessons and Carol is very cool , because it uses bible scripture to tell the story and origins of Our favorites Christmas carols and not so famous ones as well. This event features several speakers reading scripture from the bible followed by the songs that related to them. This service is similar to a service Christmas goers would experience a couple hundreds years. So Concordia University is preserving this type of service. This service besides scripture, features several choirs, hand bell choir, orchestra. Everyone including the audience lifts their voices high during this Christmas Celebration.
